Indications:
This panel includes vitamins A (retinol), Beta-Carotene, C (ascorbic acid), E (tocopherol), B1 (Thiamine), B2 (Riboflavin) and B6 (Pyridoxine).
Other vitamins can be requested individually as required (e.g. B12, folate, D, B3 & B7)
Patient Instructions:
No vitamin containing supplements for 24 hours prior to testing.
Sample Requirements:
2 x yellow (SST), 3 x Purple (EDTA) and 1 x Green (heparin) – Samples should be protected from light.
Postal Samples:
Accepted (must reach the laboratory within 1-day of collection)
